== Spotlight Quest Description == 

This quest is part of this month's Rachel Spotlight (see official announcement) which begins on <font color="red">May 21st</font>.  When the spotlight on Rachel ends, this quest will cease being available.  Your goal is to recover an ancient powerful artifact.

== Doing the Quest ==

#Talk to Dewey in northwest Prontera at (60,342). To see your current coordinates, use the /where command. He informs you that your Uncle Tim has passed away and asks you to head to Rachel to pick up the inheritance he left you.
#At Rachel (87, 194), talk to Cheatem, who says that thieves have broken into the house and stolen all of Tim's treasures. She asks you to look inside for clues.
#Inside the house, talk to the bookcase to discover a secret passage. When given the option, choose to explore it.
#The passage leads to the field map east of Rachel. Speak to Aladdin, who is just north of where you spawn. He says that he is just a pickpocket, but that he did see some thieves go by. He tells you to look for clues on the field map.
#Head to the bottom right part of the map and talk to the merchant at (ra_fild12 305, 34). He says he was attacked by the thieves and that they went back to Rachel. You decide to talk to Aladdin by the Rachel fountain.
#In Rachel, speak to Aladdin at (140, 125). He tells you that the thieves are none other than the Sons of Kobold. He offers to sneak in to their hideout and steal the treasure back for you but needs you to kill some of their minions first.
#Hunt 50 {{monster|id=1282 Kobold Archers}} on Rachel Field 12, the map east of Rachel.
#Return to Aladdin by the Rachel fountain. He has successfully stolen the lamp, and asks you what to do with it.
#Select Rub the Lamp and a genie will appear. He grants you your one wish, to receive a cool headgear, before vanishing.
#You are rewarded with a Sons of Kobold Hood.


== Notes == 

#As usual for any Spotlight, if you completed all of the other existing spotlight area's quests during that spotlight, talk to the NPC Victoria Quest at coordinates (128, 137) in the Rachel town's square for an additional exp award (1,000,000 base & 500,000 job, non-VIP).
#Every time you talk to Aladdin he will steal 1 zeny from you.
#Stats on the Sons of Kobold Hood: Upper, 2 Defense. On Rachel field maps, in Rachel Sanctuary and in Ice Dungeon, increases the heal amount of Red and Yellow potions / slim potions by 100%.
