1. After reaching Job Level 10 as a Novice and allocating all your skill points, go to the Gunslinger's guild at at the left side of the [[Einbroch]] Tower (134,199).

2. Talk to the Guild Master and he will have you fill out an application.

3. You will then be sent to [[Payon]] to talk to Wise Bull Horn (184,65) (in the 5 o'clock direction outside the city wall).

4. Wise Bull Horn will ask you to collect the following items:

1. Once the player is Job Level 10 and has [[Basic Skill]]s maxed, make your way to Amatsu by speaking to the [[NPC]] named Akagi located at (30,63) in [[Alberta]].

2. Akagi will warp Job Level 10 [[Novice]]s to [[Amatsu]] for free. Note that the location in Amatsu that he warps to appears to be random and does include an unwalkable area at (178,167). If stuck in this location re-logging will fix the problem.

3. Find the house located at (147,136) and enter. The house will appear to look empty. However, if you move to the back of the room, you will see a path. Follow this to a portal.

4. Once inside, talk to Cougar near the portal (que_ng 30,65). He will blab on and requires you to find Wildcat Joe in [[Einbroch]].

5. Head to [[Einbroch]] and climb the central tower (einbroch 176,172 or 173,229 for the elevator; Wildcat Joe sits near 181,196 on the top floor). Give him Cougar’s letter and hear his answer, then return to Cougar in Amatsu.

6. Cougar will ask for 5 {{item|id=7053 Cyfar}} and 1 {{item|id=1010 Phracon}} to forge his own Kunai. These items are consumed when you hand them in, so be sure you have no leftover skill points before proceeding.

7. After the handoff, Cougar will change you into a Ninja and reward you with an {{Item |id=13010 Asura <nowiki>[2]</nowiki>}}.
