== Applications ==

Frost Diver is a disabling skill, since [[Frozen]] status stops any monsters immediately. From this point, it is possible to cast a high-damage skill without fearing retaliation from the monster (unless it breaks free). Since a monster turns into [[Water]] element after being frozen, it is most liable to [[Wind]] attacks such as [[Lightning Bolt]].

[[Undead]] and [[Boss]] monsters cannot be frozen but can still be damaged by Frost Diver. If a mage decides to become a [[Wizard]], the skill [[Storm Gust]] can replace the need of Frost Diver for mobs. The other disabling skill, [[Stone Curse]], is also an option.

*Target's [[MDEF|Magic Defense]] affects the chance of being [[frozen]], as well as the duration of the frozen status.
