Arena PVP

PvP Arena (1v1 and 2v2)

The PvP Arena is an instanced, queue-based mode with two formats:

• 1v1 (solo queue)
• 2v2 (party queue, exactly 2 players)

Both modes use an ELO-style rating, track wins and losses, and reward PvP Tokens that can be spent in the PvP Token Shop.

The leaderboard is reset every 6 weeks.

PvP Tokens

PvP Tokens are an account-wide currency. You earn tokens by playing 1v1 or 2v2 matches, then spend them in the PvP Token Shop (PvP Vendor).

1v1 Arena

Requirements

• You must be solo (not in a party).
• You cannot queue while already in a match.

How to queue

• 1. Talk to PvP 1v1 Queue in Prontera (183,173).
• 2. Choose Join queue.
• 3. When a match is found, type @ready within the time limit shown in chat.

Match rules

• Format: first to 5 kills
• Time limit: 6 minutes
• At the start of each round you are warped to spawn points and briefly frozen.
• The arena announces the score during the match.

Rewards (1v1)

• Win: +5 PvP Tokens, rating increase
• Loss: +2 PvP Tokens, rating decrease
• Draw: +2 PvP Tokens each, rating unchanged

Anti-farming rule (1v1)

To reduce farming the same opponent:

• only the first 2 wins against the same target within a 30-minute window grant full rewards
• further wins in that window grant no ELO and no tokens

Test room (1v1)

The 1v1 NPC menu also includes a Test Room option:

• solo practice instance
• you can spawn a training dummy
• no tokens and no rating changes

2v2 Arena

Requirements

• You must be in a party with exactly 2 members.
• Both members must be online.
• Only the party leader can queue.

How to queue

• 1. Form a party with exactly 2 players.
• 2. Talk to PvP 2v2 Queue in Prontera (190,180).
• 3. The leader selects Join queue.
• 4. When a match is found, each party member must type @ready within the time limit shown in chat.

Match rules

• Format: first to 5 party wipes
  • a wipe happens when both players in a party are dead in the same round
• Time limit: 6 minutes
• Between rounds, players are warped to spawn points and briefly frozen.
• The arena announces wipes and the current score during the match.

Rewards (2v2)

• Win: +10 PvP Tokens, rating increase
• Loss: +3 PvP Tokens, rating decrease
• Draw: no tokens, rating unchanged

Talk to Erundek (PvP Tokens) to spend your PvP Tokens.

FAQ

I typed @ready but nothing happened.

Make sure you typed it in normal chat (not party chat or whisper). Also check if the ready timer already expired.

Can I queue while in a party?

For 1v1, no. For 2v2, yes, but the party must have exactly 2 players.

Do I need to be the leader in 2v2?

Yes. Only the party leader can join or leave the 2v2 queue.

What happens if someone does not type @ready?

The match start is cancelled for that player, and the queue attempt fails for the team that did not confirm.

Can I farm the same person for tokens?

In 1v1, repeated wins versus the same opponent are limited. Only the first 2 wins within 30 minutes grant full rewards. Further wins in that window grant no ELO and no tokens.

Does the test room give rewards?

No. The 1v1 test room is only for practice. It does not grant tokens and does not affect rating.

Where do I spend my tokens?

Talk to Erundek (PvP Tokens) in Prontera (185,178).
